it's a known fact people prefer the sound of their own name to any other sound in the world
I spent the last couple weeks working from this cubicle:
Sigh. And here I am, about three years ago, signing my offer letter at the end of the internship during summer 2007. That feels like a really long time ago.
After your first year of law school you come to fear the sound of your own name because it means a professor is going to ask you difficult questions in class that you don't know the answers to.
